Critical to monitor Vitamin D if you are diabetic or hypertensive

Though Vitamin D can be produced entirely by the body with adequate exposure to sunlight, it remains the most under-diagnosed nutrient deficiency in the world which is largely ascribed to our sun averse culture, obsessed with fair skin. Now, a new pan-India study found that Vitamin D deficiency was significantly associated with Type 2 diabetes and hypertension.
