The 48-year-old Sonam Sherpa, founder of the well-acclaimed band Parikrama died in Kurseong on Friday. The musician was in Kurseong to record for his upcoming movie and reportedly succumbed to cardiac arrest. Sherpa was known to be playing the guitar since he was nine years old and went on to form the band Parikrama in 1991 in Delhi along with Subir Malik.
